Star Trooper Oops!

On TRF, Top Ramen posted pictures on his recently finished Estes Star Trooper.
Anybody notice anything wrong?
Post your answer in the "Comments" below.
(There's nothing wrong with TopRamen's build. It's something Estes didn't get right.)
TopRamen's model looks good in the blue. I don't think I'd paint anything this small the same color as grass.

  1. Hi Chris,

I'm brand new to rocketry, but I've never seen a 1/4A3-2T engine. Seems that you're on about the text on the recommended engine being in error and should read 1/4A3-3T. Chances are, though, that I'm way off base.
    Cheers

  2. Motor delays are wrong....2T should be 4T?

  3. Hey Anonymous,
You got it right in your first comment! Estes doesn't make an 1/4A3-2t engine anymore. They make the 1/4A3-3t engine (three second delay) When the "T" engines came out in 1973 a 1/4A3-2t and 1/4A3-4t was produced.
Maybe Estes compromised with the 1/4A with a 3 second delay?
In your second comment - this little BT-5 model would be fine with a 1/2A3-4t engine also.
