NARCON LPR Construction Video

From last March, my NARCON session on LPR Construction and Tips is on the  www.narcon.org website. CLICK HERE
Other sessions are being added.

Many of the techniques from the blog are on the video.
It's always weird to hear yourself talk.
Note to self: Don't slump.

  1. In your video you say that the 400 wet/dry paper can be left in water indefinitely, but then you mention that 220 cannot (kind of hard to hear in the video) - which 220 are you talking about. Also, is the Norton Premium sandpaper that you mention a wet/dry paper? I have some Norton 3X that works great, but it does not say it is for wet sanding.

  2. Hi Eero,
I probably meant it could stay in the water overnight, not indefinitely.
Most 220 grit sandpapers are not plastic based like the 400 grit. The Norton Premium 220 doesn't easily load up and might be a plastic sheet like most 400 wet/dry. The premium 220 is not listed as a wet/dry, only 400 and finer are. There's no reason to wet sand with 220, it's too rough for that.
